about

'Wicked Whisper' the third track is a soft-hard rock ballad in which he laments: “I looked above and tried to pray, but Jesus wicked-whispering makes, I heard him say ‘you're dry as dust, in a sea of crimes’, a lot on my mind.” The instrumentation and riffs are reminiscent of early Coldplay, the vocal delivery straight out of the chords of Bowie, and the arrangement like an opera itself starting softly, midding hard and ending pianissimo. Our hero, suffused by his own importance, pleads to the gods: “what do you want from me?”

lyrics

I looked above and tried to pray
But Jesus wicked whispering makes
I heard him say “You’re dry as dust in a sea of crimes”
a lot on my mind

Chorus:
It don’t matter what you mean
It don’t make you cry

My luck is down, my feet are cold
Wondering who, Jesus has called
My lips are wet, my Tongue is dry
Wanting to taste all the scenes of the crimes, cos,

Chorus:
It don’t matter what you mean
And don’t it make you cry

<instrumental>

Waters shot down from misty crags
Lightening fell without a jag
The sea was white with silent light
She left my heart falling apart

Chorus:
It don’t matter what you mean
It don’t’ make you cry

Bridge and Coda:
Cry, cry, cry
What do you want from me?
Wont you please tell me?
Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me, Please tell me
